The rustilo family includes mineral oil, solvent-based and aqueous corrosion preventive fluids with different film characteristics and variable protection times for use on all grades of ferrous and many non-ferrous metal surfaces.
Castrol Rustilo 630
Neat corrosion preventive oil – Low viscous general-purpose short-term inhibited protective oil ideal for use where solvent-based products are unacceptable.
Rustilo 630 is for use as a short-term inter-operational protective or for the treatment of components before wrapping or as a temporary protection of ferrous bar, rod, tube and strip. Rustilo 630 is also suitable as a flushing oil for the internal protection of engines and machinery.
Castrol Rustilo DW 901
Solvent deposited, water-displacing type, corrosion preventive. It leaves a greasy film. The film is resistant to handling and gives excellent protection.
Castrol Rustilo DW 902
De-Watering Corrosion Preventive – Solvent deposited, water-displacing type, corrosion preventive. It leaves soft oily films and is recommended for the protection of tools, fasteners that have a high degree of finish and also can be applied on components to be freighted by sea.
Castrol Rustilo DW 904
De-Watering Corrosion Preventive – Solvent deposited, water-displacing type, corrosion preventive. Recommended for the protection of components that are to be subsequently wrapped in paper. Also used as ian nter-operational protective for the removal of soluble oil emulsions.
Castrol Rustilo DWX 30
Dewatering Corrosion Preventive – Powerful solvent deposited corrosion preventive with good dewatering properties. The product, after evaporation of the solvent, leaves an ultra-thin, greasy protective film.
Castrol Rustilo DWX 32 IN
Dewatering Corrosion Preventive – Powerful solvent deposited corrosion preventive with good dewatering properties. The product, after evaporation of the solvent, leaves a soft, greasy protective film.
Good mechanical film strength and fingerprint suppressing properties – highly finished work is not damaged by handling, which improves component quality.
Castrol Rustilo 401 CR
Medium-term dewatering protective with excellent acidic fume atmosphere protection, soft waxy film.
Dewatering Corrosion Preventive – Solvent-based, water-displacing type, premium quality corrosion preventive. It has excellent water-displacing properties and excellent coverage. It gives excellent rust protection in acidic atmosphere. On application, Rustilo 401CR leaves a soft waxy transparent film.
